Outdoor Adventures
I grew up spending most of my free time in the outdoors. When I was little I went on many camping trips with my parents and my grandparents. Camping is what introduced me to the outdoor lifestyle and I’ve loved it ever since! From camping in the back of my Dad’s truck to taking camping trips in my grandparents trailer, riding our bikes around the campground to fishing off the dock, I have so many fun memories camping.
My family is also into hunting so I grew up around deer camps, hunting pheasants and dove and eating wild game. As I got older I got more interested in hunting and moved to larger game like turkey and deer. Spending my time hunting in the outdoors is also such an exhilarating and rewarding experience. Hunting is like hiking except you carry around a gun or bow. I’ve hiked to some beautiful places and seen some amazing areas while hunting deer. Hunting allows you to get off the trails and really get deep into the forest to places lots of people will never see.
When it’s not deer or turkey season and I’m not at the lake camping, you can find me hiking. I love finding jaw dropping views and beautiful scenery. Exploring new trails and finding new landscapes is so exciting to me. Just being out walking through nature really eases my worries and relaxes my mind. I’m working on trying to hike all my local trails at least once over the next couple summers and have a dream to hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail one day in my Mom’s memory. I cant wait to share all my hiking, hunting and camping adventures with you!
